If you’re looking for a sunset spot in Turin, Cheers Bistrot is the place to be. It is perched on the hillside right at the foot of the Basilica di Superga, overlooking the entire city. It’s perched on the hillside overlooking the city and is one of those places that feels immediately welcoming. On a clear day, you can see the snow-capped Alps. In my opinion, it is one of the best spots for a sunset aperitivo.

As for the food, they do a proper and generous aperitivo. We got a great spread of cold meats, local cheeses, and fried snacks that hit the spot. We also ended up adding a portion of jalapeño poppers, which are a firm favourite of mine. They give you a nice spicy kick to go with your drinks and are the perfect addition if you are planning to stay for more than just the one round.

If you want to get the most out of your trip up the hill, you are much better off visiting the sights first and then settling in for the evening. It is a powerful and sombre spot that commemorates the tragic plane crash of 1949 where thirty-one people lost their lives. Visiting this site first allows you to pay your respects and soak in the history of the area.
