Lago di Carezza, known as Karersee in German, is one of the most photographed spots in South Tyrol. In the local Ladin language, it is called Lec de Ergobando, which translates to the Rainbow Lake. While it is famous for its vibrant green water, the real star of the show is the backdrop. The lake sits right at the foot of the Latemar massif, a jagged limestone mountain range that reflects perfectly in the water on a still day.
